Maintenance Module — Feature Overview

The Superfood Apps Maintenance Module gives food manufacturers and distributors a centralised system to manage all aspects of equipment maintenance — from tracking assets and logging job sheets to managing spare parts inventory and scheduling preventative maintenance.

The Maintenance Module is accessible from the top navigation bar within Superfood Apps. Once inside, you will see six tabs across the top of the screen:

  • Dashboard — A real-time overview of open maintenance tickets and upcoming preventative maintenance job sheets.

  • Job Sheets — Log, assign and track all maintenance jobs across your facility.

  • Assets List — A complete register of all equipment and machinery, with filtering by Status, Item Type, Location and Register.

  • Technicians — A directory of internal staff and external contractors available to be assigned to maintenance jobs, pulled from your Supplier CRM.

  • Spare Parts — Manage your spare parts inventory, pricing, purchase orders and order alerts.

  • Settings — Configure the module to suit your facility.

Why It Matters

In food manufacturing, equipment downtime can lead to production delays, food safety risks and compliance failures. The Maintenance Module helps your team stay ahead of issues with proactive scheduling and clear job tracking — all in one place.

Who Uses It

  • Maintenance Managers — Plan and oversee all maintenance activity across assets and technicians.

  • Technicians and Contractors — Receive job assignments and complete job sheets on the floor.

  • Quality and Compliance Teams — Access maintenance records for food safety audits and HACCP documentation.

  • Operations Managers — Monitor asset health, spare parts stock levels and maintenance costs.

Getting Started

  1. Set up your Assets List by adding all equipment in your facility.

  2. Add your Technicians and contractors via the Supplier CRM.

  3. Set up Preventative Maintenance schedules within each asset record.

  4. Start logging Job Sheets for reactive or scheduled maintenance work.

  5. Add your Spare Parts inventory so stock levels and reorder points are tracked.

  6. Use the Dashboard to monitor open tickets and upcoming PM tasks.

See the individual articles in this section for detailed guidance on each feature.
