EasyImport: Receiving Orders by Email

Each company gets its own EasyImport email address. Orders sent there appear on the Open orders page automatically.

Your inbound order address

Each company has its own EasyImport email address on the orders subdomain, in the form [email protected]. Any order emailed to that address is staged automatically on the Open orders page, ready to convert.

Finding and setting your address

Open Open orders. Your inbound address is shown at the top, with a button to copy it. Administrators can change the part before the @ from the address card. Give this address to the retailers who send you purchase orders, or set up a forward to it from an existing inbox.

How orders arrive

EasyImport checks the mailbox every minute, so a new order email appears in Open orders within about a minute of arriving. Each staged order keeps the sender, subject, received time and any attachments. Duplicate emails are ignored, so the same order will not appear twice.

Checking for new orders now

If you have just sent a test order and do not want to wait, press Check now on the Open orders page to pull straight away. If the email connection is not set up yet, the button tells you exactly what is missing.

Removing an order

Deleting an open order hides it from the list. It stays recorded behind the scenes so the same email is not staged again on the next check.
