PromoPlan: Recurring Promotions and Bulk Updates

Create a repeating promotion series in one step, group the planner by promo group, and edit, email or delete many promotions at once.

Recurring promotions

When a deal runs on a rhythm (the same products every four weeks, say), build it once and let the Repeat card in the promotion builder create the whole series:

  1. Build the first promotion as normal: customer, dates, products, pricing.

  2. In the Repeat card, choose the interval (every 1, 2, 4 or 13 weeks) and how long the series runs. The card shows how many promotions that makes and the first and last dates.

  3. Give the series a group name ("Drakes 4-weekly core range") and save.

Each occurrence is a normal promotion with the same products and pricing, dates shifted by the interval, and a numbered reference. They share the group name, so the whole series is easy to find, filter and edit later.

Working with a series in the planner

  • Set the grouping select to Group by promo group and the list arranges under each series name. Searching matches group names too.

  • Group by trade week instead lays the same list out under week rails, with each week's date range and promotion count.

Bulk actions

Tick promotions in the planner (or the header checkbox for everything shown) and the bulk bar appears:

  • Generate forms: one spreadsheet with a ranging form sheet per selected promotion.

  • Email forms: the same workbook attached to an email, with recipients suggested from each promotion's store contacts. Any promotion still marked Not sent moves to Sent and not confirmed.

  • Edit selected: apply the same status, price tier, budget or promo spend across the selection. Only the fields you fill in are changed.

  • Delete: removes the selected promotions and their lines. You are told how many before it happens, and it cannot be undone.

Quick actions on a single row

  • Duplicate copies a promotion (products, pricing and all) as a fresh draft and opens it for editing. Handy for one-off repeats that do not need a series.

  • Approve marks a promotion Sent and confirmed in one click, with an Undo in the toast if you approve the wrong row.
