Two views of the same plan
The Calendar page shows every promotion across time, in whichever shape suits the question:
Gantt: a timeline with one bar per promotion. Zoom between week, month and quarter, page left and right with the arrows, and jump back with the Today button. Weekends are shaded, each bar carries a launch diamond on its first day, and the today line keeps you anchored.
Calendar: a month grid with a chip for each promotion active that day, and a "+N more" when a day is busy.
Bars you can actually read
Each Gantt row is labelled with something human: the promotion's name if it has one ("Winter Deals 2026"), otherwise a summary of what is in it ("Chicken Soups · 4 products"), with the reference id kept small beside it. Hover any bar (or focus it with the keyboard) for a card with the customer, retailer, in-store dates, trade week, type, and the categories and products in the promotion. Filtering
Both views share the same filters, so you can flip between them without losing your place:
Search by promotion name, reference, retailer or customer.
Filter by status or retailer group.
Filter by category or product to answer questions like "when is anything with pizza on promotion next quarter". The lists only offer categories and products that actually appear on the shown promotions.
Exporting the view
Export the filtered set as a PDF (a clean landscape table) or Excel whenever someone wants the plan outside the app. The export honours your current filters, so what you see is what they get.
